Ross Teague, CEO of Nebula Global Services, is an incredible leader across all aspects of the business. He is always speaking with and listening to his customers and driving positive change for the company to meet the customers’ requirements. “Nothing is off the table, and nothing is a silly idea as long as it demonstrably adds value to our customers,” says Ross, who has a very open and transparent style making him incredibly easy to work with
Having been born into a family of powerful role models, Ross’s grandfather and father are massive heroes to him for the things they did for the family that afforded him the opportunities he has enjoyed. “I have been born into a family with high attainment and high expectation. As the youngest and probably the most competitive, I always wanted to be the best and win the most so by virtue become a natural leader at a young age,” elucidates Ross. “I realized at a young age that I had the ability to motivate people and help them optimize their talents and potential by removing perceived pressure they felt that had leaving them to fully focus on the task at hand and not on the pressure associated with doing he task.”
For the pioneering leader, success is a very subjective statement, and success is something he is always motivated by. “My advice is this, know what you want to be famous for, your value, what your customer wants, and work as hard as you possibly can and stay true to your business values and then you will find success,” adds Ross.
The pioneering leader has become an extensive support system for his team and all those who look up to him. “I try to live with a positive mindset, meaning there is always another goal/another dream in which we follow. We may not reach it, but we aspire to,” says Ross. “I hope that living this way inspires my team to take chances to pursue their own goals. Mentorship comes in sharing stories.” Ross has learned valuable lessons throughout his career and working with various people. “Lessons come in all shapes and sizes. I try to soak up, embrace each lesson from a position of gratitude looking for positive in each situation. It’s true that you learn more from challenging situations than from easy wins,” he adds.

Towards the Future
Every company is on a digital transformation journey; that is a fact. The question to ask here is why and what value does it add to the business and the customers? According to Ross, the world we live in now is all about speed of execution. Speed means automation, and that equals efficiency and speed. Customers want to be more self-sufficient, but everyone loves the white glove service. The real challenge here is how an organization can automate, add value, and maintain the customer experience. For Ross, that is a hybrid of repeatable tasks automated with the value of a motivated human to oversee and prove that white glove experience.
“I work in the IT managed services sector which moves as fast as technology which is lightening. No company can move or pivot that fast, for me it is important to stay true to core business and continually innovate to add value to your customers and evolve with your customer,” explains Ross. “I also think it is important to have an incubatory function that explores the art of the possible so we continue to stay ahead of the curve and support our customer through potentially choppy waters that technology can through up.”
Nebula is born in the cloud business, so all its systems and tools are in the tier 1 cloud provider’s infrastructure, and they use best-of-breed cyber sec vendor tools to secure their systems. That, coupled with their internal SOC, means Nebula has the best tech on the best platforms monitored by the best people. “For the days to come, we want to stay true to our mission and values and keep adding value to our customers. If we do this we will grow very fast like we have proved year after year,” says Ross. “Our goal is to be recognized as the premier global IT services business that delivers on time, on quality and on budget every time.”
