Venu Dhupa is CEO of The Westway Trust, a 23-acre community estate where she has reshaped how the organization sees itself. Rather than treating the Trust primarily as a property business with charitable programs on the side, she has repositioned it as a social-benefit organization that uses real estate revenue to fund its community mission, a shift that has supported both financial performance and community impact.
Her leadership approach favors collaborative change management, staff empowerment through individual development plans, and clear communication about organizational change as it happens.
Beyond Westway, Dhupa works as a mentor and executive coach focused on leadership development for women, particularly women of color navigating career transitions, having designed and led three national leadership programs and mentored a dozen women through key professional moments. Her earlier career included roles at organizations such as Stonewall, Community Links, and the Adult Dyslexia Society.
