Stacy Racca is CEO of Ace Fluid Solutions, a provider of stimulation chemicals and water services to oilfield operators in the Permian and Delaware Basins. He took on the role as the company finalized a merger of Terra Oilfield Services and Ace Completions, LLC, establishing a new executive leadership structure effective May 2021.
Drawing inspiration from leaders such as Abraham Lincoln and Jack Welch, Racca favors bold decision-making, being transparent about mistakes, and keeping ego out of strategic choices. He has focused on building a strong leadership team and translating market analysis into achievable multi-year strategy, an approach that helped move Ace Fluid Solutions from a top-20 Permian and Delaware Basin service provider three years earlier to a top-three ranking today.
Under Racca, the company has built out ESG-focused strategies around reducing and reusing freshwater, supported by full-time laboratory technicians developing proprietary products in-house. He organizes the business around three growth drivers, people, process, and technology, and holds the team to what he calls a strict "Say-Do Ratio," while a partnership with the OFS Energy Fund has helped the company reach larger clients.
