Spiros Divanis is CEO of Divani Collection Hotels, a Greek hospitality group founded by his father Aristotle in 1958. Having grown up around the family tourism business, he studied at Imperial College London before returning to Greece with ideas that helped push the company's positioning further into the luxury market.
Over decades at the helm, Divanis has overseen major acquisitions and expansions, including the 1993 takeover of Hotel Caravel and the 1998 launch of Divani Apollon Palace & Thalasso on the Athenian Riviera. He now leads seven luxury properties across Athens, Meteora, Larissa, and Corfu, competing directly with international hotel chains.
His strategy blends personalized service rooted in Greek hospitality traditions with digital transformation and sustainability commitments, including signing UNESCO's Sustainable Travel Pledge and joining the GHA DISCOVERY luxury hotel alliance.
