Sasha Jensen founded Jensen Partners in 2012, building a leading executive recruitment firm within alternative asset management during a period of rapid industry growth. Drawing on her earlier background as an investigative journalist in South Africa, where she developed strong data-analysis skills, Jensen built her firm on the principle that quantitative insight leads to better hiring decisions.
Following George Floyd's murder in 2020, Jensen pivoted to address systemic diversity gaps in her industry, launching Jensen DiversityMetrics, enterprise software that lets firms measure, benchmark, and improve workforce equity. Her research uncovered stark disparities in representation across distribution and investment roles, and through a leadership team that is majority female, she has pushed the industry toward more transparent and accountable hiring practices.
