Paul Battista is the founder and CEO of Brothers Paving & Concrete, a paving and concrete services company he has grown into a fast-growing, multi-state operation through both organic expansion and acquisition. A lifelong learner with strong family and faith roots, he built the business around four guiding principles: people, partnering, precision, and professionalism.
Battista has pushed the company toward operational sophistication uncommon in the trade, standing up an in-house marketing team and commissioning proprietary project-management software, PavementSoft, to track jobs from estimate through completion. He also created "Brothers University," an internal training program for employee development, and pursued executive education through Harvard Business School's Owner/President Management program.
Under his leadership the company has repeatedly landed on the Inc. 5000 list of America's fastest-growing private companies and partnered with private equity firm Trivest to pursue nationwide consolidation. Battista pairs that growth ambition with a people-first culture, covering 100 percent of employee healthcare costs and holding firm to his belief that clearly visualizing a goal is the first step toward achieving it.
