Martin Paquette is Founder and CEO of Groupe Nordik, a wellness company built around Nordic-style spa experiences across North America. Known for a collaborative and transparent leadership style, he has focused on employee wellbeing while building technology-enabled wellness experiences designed to let guests step away from daily stress and benefit from thermotherapy.
Under his direction, Groupe Nordik has grown from a single flagship spa in Chelsea, Quebec, now the largest of its kind in North America, into a multi-location business with facilities in Winnipeg and planned openings near Toronto and Calgary.
Paquette favors developing capabilities internally, from IT to design to customer service, to keep quality and culture consistent across locations. During the pandemic, while many competitors pulled back, he chose to invest in infrastructure and operational improvements instead.
