Kasper Larsen is a Danish serial entrepreneur and CEO of Evendo, an online event management platform. He started his career in IT at the shipping company A.P. Moller-Maersk before co-founding the software company Sitecore in 2001, which he helped grow into a market leader operating in more than 40 countries before moving on to new ventures.
With Evendo, Larsen set out to solve the inefficiency of planning the hundreds of millions of small events organized every year, building what he has described as a Booking.com-style experience for events that connects organizers with tens of thousands of suppliers of venues, services, and experiences, automatically filtered by location, date, and group size.
During the disruption of the pandemic, Larsen expanded Evendo's offerings to include virtual experiences and introduced a working-capital program aimed at supporting hospitality suppliers under financial strain, reflecting his broader belief that the right team can help ordinary people achieve extraordinary results.
