Jeff Timbrook is CEO of Thynk Health, bringing more than 25 years of healthcare IT experience to the company since joining in 2018. Under his leadership, the startup has grown into a market leader in cancer screening and incidental findings management software, capturing a significant share of North America's lung cancer screening software market within about 18 months of launch.
Based in Kentucky, a region with elevated lung cancer rates, Timbrook has guided Thynk Health's expansion beyond lung screening into additional imaging modalities, applying artificial intelligence and deep learning to reduce inefficiencies in cancer detection workflows.
One notable result under his direction has been automating submissions to the ACR Lung Screening Registry, cutting the time required from a nurse navigator from roughly 25-30 minutes down to a single click, part of a broader push to build an EHR-agnostic platform that adapts to each provider's own reporting style.
