Damien M Tholomier serves as CEO of Saint-Jean-Baptiste Electric Co-Op, Quebec's last remaining electric cooperative. With three decades of experience in power systems and grid automation across Fortune 500 energy companies, he brings expertise in electrical infrastructure, software solutions, and strategic planning.
Since joining the cooperative in 2021, Tholomier has led its diversification into renewable energy development, including a collaborative 100 MW wind farm project selected by Hydro-Québec. He emphasizes transformational leadership through coaching, creative problem-solving, and grid modernization initiatives aimed at meeting growing electricity demand from transportation electrification and decarbonization, while maintaining reliable, affordable service to 7,000 members across 16 municipalities.
