Conor Coyne is CEO of The Kylemore Trust and its commercial arm, Kylemore Abbey and Gardens, one of Ireland's best-known visitor destinations. A native of Connemara, he brings a background spanning utilities, finance, professional services, and hospitality to the role, and has led the organization since 2019.
During his tenure, Coyne has overseen multi-million euro capital projects, earned national recognition for the estate's marketing and sustainability work, and guided it through a recovery from the pandemic that has since surpassed pre-COVID performance.
His leadership has also strengthened the estate's support for its resident Benedictine monastic community while positioning the 155-year-old site as an economic anchor for the region, with more than 90% of retail suppliers sourcing Irish products. Under his direction, Kylemore Abbey has won National Visitor Attraction of the Year (2021) and Great Place to Work certification (2023).
