Chris Hunter is CEO of CRS Temporary Housing, a company that helps homeowners displaced by catastrophic losses find housing. Recruited into the role in 2016, he has overseen substantial growth through strategic capital investment and acquisitions, while working to build a values-driven company culture. He brings more than three decades of executive experience, an engineering undergraduate degree, and an MBA to the position.
Hunter places strong emphasis on compassionate customer service for people coping with the trauma of losing their homes, and describes his leadership approach as a kind of Socratic method, using clarifying questions and active listening to get to the root of problems and find collaborative solutions.
Beyond CRS, he serves as Co-Chairman of the University of Denver's Daniels School of Business Executive Advisory Board and Chairman of Adopt Technologies, where he applies technology and data analytics to improving customer experience and operational efficiency.
