Anil Grandhi is founder and CEO of AG FinTax, a financial advisory firm focused on serving small business owners. Before starting the company, he spent more than 15 years working with Fortune 500 companies, where he noticed a wide gap between the financial management tools available to large enterprises and those available to small businesses, a gap he set out to close.
AG FinTax is staffed by CPAs, chartered accountants, MBAs, and CMAs, and Grandhi runs the firm around client-first service, accountability, and integrity. During the pandemic, the firm played an outsized role helping clients navigate emergency relief programs, ultimately helping secure more than $300 million for clients through vehicles such as SBA and PPP loans, and later supporting them through loan forgiveness.
Beyond tax planning and CFO services, Grandhi has pushed the firm to expand into virtual CFO work, M&A advisory, fundraising support, and wealth management, while building technology that gives clients more real-time visibility into their own numbers. He often points to patience, resilience, focus, and a positive attitude as the essential traits for any entrepreneur.
