Albert Fouerti is CEO of AppliancesConnection, an e-commerce platform focused on home appliances. He founded the company to solve common frustrations with traditional appliance shopping, including limited selection, delivery logistics, and installation, building it into a nationwide operation known for delivering large appliances along with related services.
Fouerti has taken a technology-forward approach to running the business, using machine learning to personalize product recommendations for shoppers and investing in more sophisticated search infrastructure to improve the site's performance. When the COVID-19 pandemic hit, he moved quickly to introduce contactless delivery and scale up logistics capacity to keep pace with a surge in demand.
He has continued to prioritize the customer experience on mobile devices as the business evolves, framing his outlook simply: if a company stops moving forward, it risks getting left behind.
